Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Guy Lombardo, the list goes on. All in all, they made great music. For some of us, it was the music our parents played on the stereo cabinet, double speakers and room for the album collection, big enough space for a small child to hide. In this class, we will take a trip down memory lane as we listen to the music and discover what was life like for these entertainers during the late thirties, through the war years to 1945.
