In this class we are going to take a look at some of the twenty-six Church approved Marian apparitions in order to discover the definition, approval process and the understanding of reasons as to why these apparitions occurred and the subsequent effects they had on the faithful. In order to enhance our knowledge of these appearances, we will seek the experiences of class members who may have visited the sites of Marian Shrines.

Also, in a nod to Archbishop Fulton Sheen's upcoming beatification, we will look at the miracle surrounding his elevation to the status of Blessed and explore other supernatural events such as the incorruptible bodies of saints.
