Compassionate Endings: Understanding the Role of an End-of-Life Doula
Class | Available
Death is a natural part of life, yet many people avoid talking about it until they are faced with it. This informative class introduces the role of the end-of-life doula, a non-medical professional who provides emotional, practical, and compassionate support to individuals and families during the dying process. Drawing on nearly three decades of nursing experience, Kristin will discuss how end-of-life doulas help bridge gaps in care, reduce stress and uncertainty, and support families who may be geographically distant or stretched thin.
