Photography Workshop: Cyanotype
Class | Available
Discover the magic of one of photography’s earliest processes in this hands-on cyanotype workshop, where art and science meet. You’ll learn about this photographic technique, which dates back to 1842 and uses sunlight to create striking blue-and-white prints. Over the course of nine hours, you’ll gain an understanding of cyanotype fundamentals and history, including creative techniques such as toning and wet cyanotype. Through guided instruction and creative experimentation, you’ll design and print your own unique compositions using natural materials, found objects, and photographic negatives.
