Love working with your hands and solving problems? Explore the world of skilled trades with hands-on activities at KCC’s Fehsenfeld Center. You’ll try essential trade skills, work on real-world projects, use professional tools, and learn from industry experts to see if building, fixing, and creating might be in your future. Additionally, we’ll take a tour of KCC’s Regional Manufacturing Technology Center in Battle Creek on our last day of camp (transportation provided). Students must follow the safety dress code. Get ready to build skills and discover careers that keeps the world running!

CAMP DRESS CODE:

The planned activities may involve hands on instruction, physical labor or working in a dangerous environment, participants should wear comfortable clothing that protects them from hazards. Failure to adhere to the following dress code may result in your child not being able to participate in camp.

• Participants must wear long-sleeve shirts and long pants that do not have any rips or holes. Clothing should be cotton and should be clothing that they can get dirty (preferably denim/jeans).
• Participants should avoid wearing loose jewelry and must keep hair tied back.
• Participants must wear closed toed leather shoes, with the support and cushioning to protect their feet, ankles, and knees and promote improved posture. Closed toe footwear is a requirement. No Crocs.   
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided. Participants will be expected to wear PPE when instructed.
