Do you love working with your hands, solving problems, or figuring out how things work? This camp is your chance to roll up your sleeves and dive into the world of skilled trades! Spend time at KCC’s Regional Manufacturing Technology Center, where you’ll rotate through hands-on activities like welding, electrical work, HVAC, and more. Experience what it’s really like to be part of these in-demand industries and discover if building, fixing, and creating could be in your future.

CAMP DRESS CODE:

The planned activities may involve hands on instruction, physical labor or working in a dangerous environment, participants should wear comfortable clothing that protects them from hazards. Failure to adhere to the following dress code may result in your child not being able to participate in camp.

• Participants must wear long-sleeve shirts and long pants that do not have any rips or holes. Clothing should be cotton and should be clothing that they can get dirty (preferably denim/jeans).
• Participants should avoid wearing loose jewelry and must keep hair tied back.
• Participants must wear closed toed leather shoes, with the support and cushioning to protect their feet, ankles, and knees and promote improved posture. Closed toe footwear is a requirement. No Crocs.   
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided. Participants will be expected to wear PPE when instructed.
