Discover the art and skill of welding in this hands-on camp! Learn basic techniques, use real tools and equipment, and explore metal fabrication and safety with industry professionals. Whether you’re curious about a welding career or just want to try something new, this camp sparks creativity and builds practical skills!

Ages 13-18: Monday* June 8 * 1-4 PM * $25 * RMTC Faculty * RMTC, 405 Hill Brady Rd, Battle Creek



REQUIRED DRESS CODE:
The planned activities may involve hands on instruction, physical labor or working in a dangerous environment, participants should wear comfortable clothing that protects them from hazards. Failure to adhere to the dress code may result in your child being unable to participate in some camp activities.
• Participants must wear long-sleeve shirts and long pants that do not have any rips or holes. Clothing should be cotton and should be clothing that they can get dirty (preferably denim/jeans).
• Participants should avoid wearing loose jewelry and must keep hair tied back.
• Participants must wear closed toed leather shoes, with the support and cushioning to protect their feet, ankles, and knees and promote improved posture.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided. Participants will be expected to wear PPE when instructed.
