Take a trip back to the vibrant ‘60s when weaving, macramé, knitting, and fiber arts were all the rage! In this hands-on class, you’ll explore the art of organic weaving—using natural fibers like cotton, raffia, jute, and other plant-based materials. We’ll focus on the aesthetic side of weaving with an emphasis on “random weaving,” a freeform approach that encourages spontaneous, creative outcomes. Learn how to incorporate raw and recyclable materials into decorative, textural artwork that reflects your unique style.
