This important hands-on class focuses on essential topics to help you effectively understand and manage fire risks. You'll learn about the fire life cycle and behavior, the fire triangle and quadrilateral, as well as various types of fire extinguishers and smoke, fire, and carbon monoxide detectors. Note: Weather permitting, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience using an extinguisher to put out a controlled fire. Please wear cotton clothing that is suitable for getting dirty.
