Pour a cup, take a seat, and enjoy a delightful hour of “history-tea” with the ever-charming Maggie. Learn about her distant aunt, Gladys Hagee Mathew, born on the Colorado frontier, her marriage to a descendant of the British gentry, and their adventures that took them to New York City and across Europe. Participants will sample some of Maggie’s tea, be the first to read recently discovered accounts from the late 1800s, and view items found in Gladys’ Upper West Side brownstone in Manhattan.
