Ready to get a jump on your cross-country season? Join experienced coaches Rob Lillie and Tom Shaw for a dynamic training camp designed to help you hit the ground running — literally! This camp is all about building a strong foundation for the season ahead, improving performance, and staying injury-free.
What you'll learn:
- Injury Prevention & Proper Running Form: Master techniques that will keep you healthy and help you run with better efficiency, reducing your risk of injury.
- Muscle Strengthening & Conditioning: Develop targeted strength exercises that improve your endurance and speed, setting you up to shave seconds off your times.
- Efficient Mechanics & Movement Patterns: Break down the science of running and learn to move more efficiently, conserving energy for the final stretch.
- Runner-Specific Strength & Stretching: Use bodyweight exercises and dynamic stretches to build a stronger, more flexible body that performs at its best.
Each session includes a daily run focused on applying these principles, helping you integrate what you learn into your regular training routine. Whether you’re new to cross-country or aiming for a personal best, this camp is designed to get you prepared for a successful season.
Please come dressed to move, bring a water bottle, and get ready to take your training outdoors!
