This informative and hands-on class focuses on essential topics to help you effectively understand and manage fire risks. You'll learn about the fire life cycle and behavior, the fire triangle and quadrilateral, as well as various types of fire extinguishers and smoke/fire/carbon monoxide detectors. Weather permitting, you'll also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience using an extinguisher to put out a controlled fire, so wear cotton clothes that can get dirty.
