The largest shipwreck in the Great Lakes is the mighty Fitz, which is now resting in two major pieces at the bottom of Lake Superior, just across the Canadian border. The ship was lost during a severe storm in 1975, with all 29 crew members disappearing into the waves. Shipwreck historian Ric Mixter is one of only a few who have visited the wreck.
