Do you babysit or plan to become a babysitter? Are you a Boy or Girl Scout looking to earn a new badge? Do you want to be prepared to help when a medical emergency arises? Then this hands-on camp is for you! This American Heath Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid CPR camp will teach the basics of first aid and CPR skills. We will cover treatments for medical and environmental emergencies, injuries, and CPR skills, with a focus on child and infant CPR and obstructed airway techniques. You will learn from KCC EMS instructors and train on the College’s state-of-the-art equipment. Plus, you will receive an AHA Certificate of Completion at the end of camp. NOTE: Campers will have a supervised lunch period and may bring lunch or purchase one in KCC’s Bruin Bistro.
