This class will explore a variety of watercolor techniques. Whether a beginner or experienced artist, you are invited to join us. You will work at your own pace to create a work of art and begin to find and develop your own style.  Your instructor has over 20 years of experience with watercolor painting and is the president of the Watercolor Society of Artists.  Note: A materials list of items to bring to the first class will be provided prior to class. Please bring photos or pictures to use for inspiration.

  • Materials for Basic Watercolor Course

    *Tubes of red, yellow, and blue watercolor paint (More colors can be acquired over time).

    *Brushes: Round brush, one-inch Flat brush, liner brush (also called a rigger), and a fan brush.

    *Paper: 140lb. Weight cold press or 300lb. Weight cold press.

    *Size: Painting size is individual.

    *Masking fluid and eraser for removing masking.

    *Pallet for mixing paint.

    *Container for water

    *Sketch pad Pencil and eraser

    *A support to hold the watercolor paper such as: foam core, gator board, plexiglass, or Masonite
