In this second half of the introductory class, you will learn the purl stitch, the basics of stockinet stitch, how to make ribbing, and some basic pattern reading skills.  Each week you will complete a small project as you learn to apply these techniques.  Please bring size eight knitting needles and one skein of good quality, light colored, worsted weight yarn to class.
