There will be 9 billion people by 2050 and feeding them will require as much food to be produced in the next 40 years as the past 10,000 combined! Join us to discover how the world of agriculture is much more than just farming. Each day of this exciting new camp will focus on a different agriculture topic: plant science, animal science, and food science. Camp will include hands-on activities and experiments, including planting, experiences with live animals, making our own ice cream, and visits to local farms. We’ll learn about the different types of technology used in agriculture, as well as the differing careers available.
