There are distinct challenges facing the millennial generation—from underemployment to student loan debt—it’s hard to save for the future. Today, 70% of college graduates exit school with student debt—these students carry over $1.4 trillion dollars in loans. The average 2019 graduate will leave school with over $37,000 in debt and an average payment of over $350 a month. Education is essential to remain competitive, but it’s often financed through some form of borrowing. In this class we’ll discuss strategies that can assist, lessen or even eliminate student loan debt along with early planning strategies for a more secure financial future.
