In recent years we have seen the expansion of the availability of both medical and recreational cannabis across the United States and, like many of us, you may be curious about what cannabis is and isn’t. Michigan legalized both medical and recreational use of marijuana and the 2018 Farm Bill made growing hemp legal across the U.S. The cannabis industry in our community puzzles many, and in this class we will share information and provide resources to help take away some of the mystery. Join us to explore a brief history of marijuana and its use, what the plant is and how it interacts with the human body, and what the new law means for the business of marijuana and the impact on communities like ours.
