This introductory fiction writing class will teach you the process of fiction writing from the initial concept to submission. You’ll learn healthy writing practices as well as strategies for the type of fiction you’re writing (short stories vs. novels). We will cover fiction fundamentals, including outlining, plotting, character development, point-of-view, and setting. When finished, you will have the tools to complete a story outline, begin your first draft, refine a final draft, and start the submission process.
