The recertification process for the ASSE 15010 certification requires completion of an 8-hour instructional course focusing on the inspection, testing, and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems. All information will cover ASSE Standard 15010 and will require the following code books: NFPA 13, NFPA 11, NFPA 14, NFPA 20, NFPA 22, and NFPA 25. 

Course Eligibility

Individuals who are seeking to recertify their ASSE 15010 certification, must hold a valid ASSE 15010 Water-Based Fire Protection certification. Registrants will receive an eligibility form shortly following registration. 

Application Verification

Fire University reviews each individual's application for completeness and verifies the work and education history provided.

Code books are NOT included...

• Class begins at 8am and ends at 4:30pm each day. Please be on time.
• You must pass a (pass/fail) practical assessment and a 1-hour 25 question assessment. 
• You must receive a minimum of 75% or better to pass the written exam.
• Turnaround time for receiving your exam scores and certificates (passing candidates only) is 30 days.
• You must bring your own code books. Code books will not be provided. 
• Exam fees are included.
