Audience: EC special educators (new or experienced), as well as administrators supporting them.

A day in the life of an Early Childhood Special Educator (ECSE/EEE) is always busy! Each day is chock-full of teaching, meetings and paperwork responsibilities. These responsibilities become even more complex for those working in multiple settings and on teams. Managing it all can sometimes feel like a daunting task.

This course will sharpen your organizational skills and add to your strategy toolbox as we walk through each step of the special education process. We will discuss the daily operations and responsibilities of being a preschool case manager/service provider and brainstorm cost-effective, time-smart approaches. Additionally, each day will include a “make & take” session for creating materials that you can start using your next day at work.

Course participants will attend 2 workshop days plus two one-hour small group work sessions at the end of each training and online work between sessions (documenting, reading and commenting on online posts).
