The talk will explain why cryptocurrency exists, how it operates, how to understand changes in the value of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and how to understand enacted and proposed federal legislation. The talk will explain why critics believe that cryptocurrencies are the equivalent of 2008 mortgage-backed securities (or worse).
