As part of our ongoing efforts to support Vassar students and strengthen the ties between the VCLLI and the broader Vassar College community, we are delighted to announce the second performance of our new Community Performance Prize series for Fall 2026.
Grace, Groove, & Gravity: Style and Technique in Three Solos will feature three talented students from Vassar's Dance Department: Stella Johnson ’29, Tara Sweeney ’28, and Lillian Palmer ’27. Each dancer will present a solo representing a different dance genre—classical ballet, jazz, and modern dance—offering us an opportunity to appreciate their talent and artistry.
The performance will take place on Wednesday, November 4, at 3:30 p.m., in the Frances Daly Fergusson Dance Theater, located on the first floor of Kenyon Hall.
A Q&A session with the dancers will follow the performance, giving us an opportunity to learn more about their work and artistic experiences.
We hope you will join us for this special afternoon as we celebrate the talents of Vassar students and continue to build connections between our two communities.
The theater seats 239 people, so there should be plenty of room for everyone. You are warmly encouraged to bring a spouse or partner.
NOTE: These performances do not count toward any In-Person Class Limits. Please save these dates--Members are encouraged to attend as many performances as they wish!
