NEW THIS SEMESTER!!  As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen connections between our Lifelong Learning Institute and the broader Vassar College community, we are pleased to introduce the Community Performance Prize Series for Vassar students. A monetary prize will be awarded to each student performer participating in the program. In addition to performing, students will briefly discuss their work and artistic process.

We are launching this new initiative with performances by students from the Music and Dance Departments. While locations are still being finalized, we expect the music performances to be held in Blodgett Auditorium or Skinner Hall (Thekla Hall).

We hope this inaugural series will receive enthusiastic support from our community. Last semester, we enjoyed an outstanding performance by a student string trio featuring works by Franz Schubert, and we hope to welcome them back this Fall.

Information about each performance will be distributed to all members the week prior to the performance.

NOTE: These performances do not count toward any In-Person Class Limits. Please save these dates--Members are encouraged to attend as many performances as they wish!
