A History and Tour of the Wines of Spain—With Wine Tasting!

This class will include presentations on the major wine producing regions of Spain and include a wine tasting at each class. Regions (and wines) likely to be covered include Rioja, Ribera de Duero, Rueda, Rias Baixas, and Jerez.
- NOTE: Attendees will be asked to pay the presenter (at a 20% discount from retail) for the wines that are tasted, estimated at $25, for the four classes. The selected wines will be "curated" in conjunction with Antoine Lefort, the proprietor of La Caviste at Eastdale. Participants are asked to bring 3 small wine glasses to each class.

Arnie Serotsky has been teaching about, traveling for, collecting, and enjoying the wines of the world, for over 50 years. He has been associated with, as an attendee and presenter, Les Amis du Vin International, the Pennsylvania Wine Society, the Mid-Hudson Food and Wine Society, and It Was A Good Year, Inc., for which he plans and presents tastings, advises, and serves as the AV coordinator.
