A Little Bit More Math

In a series of four lectures we will be introduced to some interesting mathematical topics and we will explore what they might mean. The goal will be to think a little bit like a mathematician. Topics will vary week to week with each meeting to be as self-contained as possible.
John McCleary
John McCleary is retired from the Elizabeth Stillman Williams Chair of Mathematics at Vassar College where he taught for 44 years. He has written books and papers on mathematics, mostly in his specialties of algebraic topology and the history of mathematics.
