America: Colony to Constitutional Republic

8-weeks | This course is completed

Join us as we explore the people, politics and economy of America during its first two
centuries. Settlers contested with indigenous inhabitants, and slavery was adopted. A
very American focus and fledgling beginnings at self-governance developed into a
movement for independence from Britain. No prior knowledge or outside readings
needed; copies of all slide presentations will be available.
