Five Animal Frolics Qigong

6-weeks | Registration closed 9/1/2024

In ancient China, shamans created beautiful, simple dances based on the movements of animals they saw around them. These became known as “The Five Animal Frolics”, and are still practiced world-wide by millions of people. By moving the way each animal moves, we learn to cultivate the power of the bear, the playfulness of the monkey, and the grace and tranquility of the crane in flight. The Five Frolics are so much fun you’ll hardly notice how naturally your skills of balance, coordination, flexibility, agility, and focus are improving, too!

No Qigong background is necessary to do this course. Experienced Qigong students will, however, find it interesting to learn the original roots of some classic Qigong movements.
